Roost Hill is nestled in a perfect spot for culinary adventures! Just a hop away, you’ll find The Stables and Union Eatery & Coffee, where I savored some delightful local cuisine. The hospitality from Alia was top-notch—plenty of tips for exploring dining spots and attractions. The room was immaculate and cozy with a quaint feel, making it feel like a home away from home.
Now, a cheeky critique, the room felt a tad cramped, especially the quirky bathroom arrangement that might boggle a tall person. And while the double bed was cozy, it might leave some hoping for a bit more elbow room. A Scottish biscuit would’ve been a lovely touch instead of standard sachets.

Great bus connections nearby for easy city access.
My room felt cramped, especially the bathroom setup. It lacked basic amenities, such as a welcoming biscuit with tea. The steep steps to the house were also a hassle, and parking was a challenge.

I stayed in a triple room for four nights and appreciated the spaciousness. the room was quite cold, and the small double bed might feel snug for two. The bathroom could also benefit from a better design, as the shower left water on the floor due to its curtain. Still, it was a decent stay overall.

Do recommend for a concise stay
Cozy room, modern bathroom, offered everything I needed including free wi-fi and a flat-screen TV, with a bus station conveniently located right next to the guest house for easy city access.
Couldn't ask for more.

Comfortable Stay with Room for Improvement
The cozy double room was adequate for my needs, but tight spaces in the bathroom made it tricky. A bit more thought in amenities, like better cups and a biscuit with tea, would enhance the experience. Parking can be a challenge, so plan accordingly. a decent stay for solo travelers.
